Three hundred Canadian Armenians held a protest action against Armenia-Turkey Protocols in Toronto, local community paper “Horizon” informs.

The protest action was organized jointly by Armen Karo Student Association, ARFYOC Simon Zavarian Chapter and Armenian Student Association various chapters, Asbarez daily reports. The protestors gathered at Nathan Phillips Square and sang Armenian anthem, followed by speeches.

“With the protocols on the verge of being signed, those present made every effort to inform the public that the protocols unilaterally benefit Turkey and are just another step in Turkey’s systematic denial of the Armenian Genocide,” the daily reads.

The protestors made it clear that despite the documents' signing the struggle goes on, considering that the Protocols are not ratified by both states' Parliaments. “They will not stop until the rightful Armenian Borders as drawn by American President Woodrow Wilson are reinstated and the right to self-determination of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh is respected by the Turkish Government,” Asbarez says.
