Considering the possibility of Armenia-Turkey border opening, a luxurious hotel is being built ashore Lake Van, western Turkey, Turkish e-source Haberturk reports.
The construction of 56-suite luxury hotel costing U.S. $5m is started. Van Rescate Hotel will be put into operation in 2010, President of the “Akay Group” Kurtulus Akay stated. According to him, the hotel will be the most luxurious out of 11 hotels in Van.
The hotel will be located 2 kilometers away from the airport and 8 km from the centre. After Armenia-Turkey border opening a large number of tourists will visit Van, Akay assured.
