Alberd Tersargyan accused of a killing an Armenian family and attack on prostitute on Sunset Boulevard used to serve in the Armenian army.
A grand jury indictment was unsealed Monday against a former Armenian army soldier 65-aged Alberd Tersargyan. He was indicted on four counts of murder, the Los Angeles Times writes.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, 38-aged Karine Hakobyan was found dead on March 26 in Little Armenia district of Hollywood. Earlier, her husband Khachik Safaryan and her 9-aged daughter had been killed as well.
The detectives involved in the case told Los Angeles Times that Ter-Sargsian and his wife were close friends of Safaryan-Hakobyan family. The criminal was in love with Karine and tried to drive the couple apart. However, Hakobyan remained in the marriage. Her husband received an anonymous threat urging him to leave the country as soon as possible. Within the days after threats were receives, Khachik Safaryan and his daughter were found dead.
The detectives consider that Karine’s refusal to have relationship with Ter-Sargsian urged him to kill the woman as well.
