Foreign Minister of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki stated that Iran might agree with the enrichment of uranium abroad and decide whether to purchase fuel for Tehran reactor “like in the past,” or deliver to Russia low-enriched uranium “which we currently don't need,” The Jerusalem Post daily reports.

According to the daily, Mottaki underlined that “legal peaceful nuclear activities will continue.”

It is the first official statement of Iranian authorities that indicates the country may “partially agree to UN-drafted plan to ship much of Iran's uranium to Russia.”
