MINSK. – The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was not present at the CIS summit being busy with monetary-financial regulations in Belarus, said Belarus FM Sergei Martynov, RIA Novosti reports.
He dismissed the rumors that Lukashenko had not arrived as he was not satisfied with the works of CIS. Moreover, the absence of the Belarusian leader is not conditioned by problems in relations between Russia and Tajikistan.
Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have not arrived in Dushanbe as well. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Tajikistan on Friday.
