YEREVAN. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan invited the delegations of the CIS countries to take part in forum of publishers and translators to be held in Yerevan next year.
Forum is dedicated to UNESCO’s decision to declare Yerevan a world book capital in 2012. It will be organized with the assistance of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.
Dushanbe hosts the anniversary summit of CIS on Saturday. In December 2011 the Commonwealth will mark 20th anniversary of its creation.
The leaders are considering the issues of future development of CIS and are discussing topical international problems.
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Dushanbe on Friday. The leaders of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Belarus have not arrived for the meeting.
