YEREVAN.- President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting on Saturday with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon on the sidelines of the CIS summit held in Dushanbe.
The sides gave appraisal of bilateral relations and cooperation in different fields, discussed the issues related to expansion of cooperation both in bilateral format and within the framework of international agencies.
President Sargsyan attended the anniversary summit of CIS heads of states dedicated to the 20th anniversary of organization’s creation.
The session with the participation of presidents was followed by an enlarged meeting of delegations, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The delegations discussed cooperation in the fileds of security, migration, culture and other sectors.
The delegation headed by President Sargsyan will return to Armenia on Saturday evening.
