October 27, 2009 Ter-Petrosyan visited Komitas Pantheon to lay wreath on RA National Assembly former Speaker and Chairman of Miasnutyun (Unity) Alliance Karen Demirchyan’s gravestone.

RA NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Galust Sahakyan and MP Vardan Ayvazyan also visited pantheon to pay tribute to the memory of RA Former Premier Andranik Margaryan.

Ter-Petrosyan further headed to Yerablur. Leader of Justice faction and People’s Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan, Chairman of the Republic Party Aram Sargsyan, oppositional politicians Aram Manukyan, Gagik Jhangiryan, Myasnik Malkhasyan, Arshak Banuchyan, liberators and others joined Ter-Petrosyan.

Ten years ago, October 27, 1999 an unprecedented crime was committed in Armenia. RA National Assembly Speaker Karen Demirchyan, Prime-Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, Vice Speakers Ruben Miroyan and Yuri Bakhshyan, MPs Henrikh Abrahamyan, Mikayel Kotanyan, Armenak Armenakyan and Leonard Petrosyan were shot at the session in RA Parliament.
