Ankara was sincerely eager to normalize Armenia-Turkish relations, Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Burak Ozugergin said Oct. 28.
“At a weekly press conference Wednesday, Ozugergin told reporters that Turkey did not only aim at enhancing relations with Armenia, but also laying the ground for improvement in relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He said peace and stability could not be established in Caucasus if all wheels did not turn at the same time,” World Bulletin informs.
“We hope that with the progress in Turkish-Armenian relations, Armenians will be relieved to see that Turkey does not have a secret agenda and hopefully this will encourage them to adopt a positive stance in settlement of their issues with Azerbaijan,” the source quotes Ozugergin.
