Azerbaijani government stock market went down by 54.3%, making 2.65 manat within Jan.-Sep. 2009. According to State Committee for Securities in Azerbaijan, the indicator reached 5.81 m manat for the same period in 2008.

Within that period, 812 deals with stroke with governmental securities compared to 1725 deals for 9 months in 2008. The REPO operations make up the majority (600 deals for 1 811 711m manat compared to 1270 deals for 3 949 640 manat within Jan.-Sep.2008, slumped by 54.1%).
