Presently, NKR status only is discussed at the Karabakh conflict settlement talks, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan stated in the RA Parliament on November 5. According to him, other issues are not canvassed, as NKR status and security are of priority to the Armenian side. “I say security in the broadest sense of the word, that means presence of land communication with Armenia and not only this,” Nalbandyan underlined.

FM outlined that this issue should be resolved through negotiations, while the discussions progress in the frames of Madrid principles. Meanwhile, he mentioned that the solution is unlikely to be within nearest 3-4 months, it is a rather long process. Minister also informed that OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are presently on a visit to Azerbaijan, and will arrive in Yerevan afterwards, on November 6.
