RA Government plans to collect AMD 505 bln taxes by this year end, instead of forecasted AMD 727 bln. RA Deputy Finance Minister Pavel Safaryan told the journalists, underlining that tax arrears will total AMD 200 bln.

Safaryan maintained the reason is global economic crisis, thus 2010 draft budget stipulates to get just AMD 533 bln in the form of tax revenue that makes 16.7% of GDP. Deputy Finance Minister outlined that this year government adheres to its 7-year budget policy on tax income increase for 3%.
