President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad leaves for Istanbul (Turkey) on Nov. 8 for a conference of the Permanent Committee of Social and Economic Cooperation (COMSEC).

Ahmadinejad will hold talks with leaders of Islamic countries.

According to Iranian Press TV, "the conference will be held to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the permanent committee. COMSEC is a committee of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

As NEWS.am informed early, OIC is an association of 56 Islamic states promoting Muslim solidarity in economic, social, and political affairs.
