The Armenian government will declare flooded communities and settlements of Lori and Tavush marzes as disaster zones. This was announced by the country's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan at a meeting of the operational headquarters.

300 million drams (more than 773 thousand dollars) will be allocated for the solution of urgent problems. The Minister also informed that road and bridge collapses have been recorded on the M6 interstate road up to Ayrum station.
