As of Jan.-Sept. 2009, 280 cases of faked bonds were registered in Armenia, whereas in 2008 it was only 59.
Police confiscated 193 bonds totaling to 485 thousand AMD (about $1250) and 875 copper coins totaling to 304700 AMD (about $800), RA Police office told NEWS.am. The fake bonds were printed on color-printer.
