On January 14-15, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will be in Washington on a working visit. Meetings are planned with American counterparts, including US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. RA Foreign Ministry reports.
The past year 2024 was marked by active political dialog and valuable achievements. On April 5, a trilateral Armenia-US-EU meeting was held. On June 11, the final session of the Armenia-US Strategic Dialogue was held in Yerevan, where the vision of deepening relations was outlined, aimed at raising the status of the bilateral dialogue to a strategic partnership.
At the session, the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized: “Our partnership is based on a firm commitment to democratic principles. Our bilateral agenda continues to expand, covering areas important for Armenia's sustainability and sustainable development.” “Given the growing nature and dynamics of bilateral relations, we look forward to taking our strategic dialog to a new level of strategic partnership, which can further strengthen the structural foundations of our multifaceted cooperation.”
Throughout the year, cooperation between Armenia and the U.S. took place at various levels and platforms, including bilateral meetings between Minister Mirzoyan and Secretary Blinken.
