Khachkar Studios is embarking on a transformative journey with a $10+ million investment in Armenian Christian media over the next five years. This groundbreaking initiative is designed to address two critical performance gaps in Armenian church communities across the United States: low non-holiday mass attendance and insufficient media spending.

The studio’s plan includes producing 40 “Good News” short-clips annually, creating the world’s largest cloud-based library of Armenian Christian video and audio content by 2025. These highquality short-clips aim to inspire Armenian Americans, particularly leaders and role models, to reconnect with their faith and heritage.

Currently, non-holiday mass attendance at 164 Armenian churches averages 13,000—just 3% of the U.S. Census Armenian population. Khachkar Studios has set a goal to double this attendance to 28,000, or 6%. Although this milestone would still place attendance below the average of peer churches, it represents a significant step forward. Achieving peer-level attendance would require quadrupling (4x) current numbers, a long-term goal for Khachkar Studios.

The second performance gap relates to media spending. Research reveals that Armenian religious organizations in the U.S. invest very little in promoting church attendance. In response, Khachkar Studios’ $10+ million investment will be 25 times larger than the combined efforts of all these organizations. This ambitious commitment ensures that Armenian Christian media will thrive in away never seen before.
