Football player of Amsterdam’s Ajax Aras Ozbilis who received Armenian citizenship in October 2011, will be granted deferment of military service in Armenia. The bill on that issue will be reviewed by the Armenian government on Thursday.
Ozbilis was born in March, 1990 and is fit for military service in Armenia. In such cases the Armenian government grants deferment of military service to the athlete until the end of their military age.
