YEREVAN. – Armenian State Revenue Committee carried out inspections at Narek Restaurant-Hotel Complex, which belongs to the brother of Sargis Sahakyan, Governor of Aragatsotn Region, Zhoghovurd daily writes, referring to its well-informed sources.

“According to the news, tax evasion evidence was found there. Regional Governor Sahakyan, however, denied: ‘There is no such thing. Nairi (his brother) put all his life into the country, the people of the state,’ he said. [And] Yesterday [Wednesday] [opposition] Heritage Party Faction MP Anahit Bakhshyan also accused Aragatsotn regional governor’s brother of violations. In her letter addressed to PM and Deputy PM, she accused Sahakyan’s brother of allowing violations during the renovation of School No. 2 of Aragatsavan [village],” Zhoghovurd writes.
