YEREVAN. - Most Armenian pharmaceutical companies are ready to pass to the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards on January 1, 2013, Health Ministry Chief of Staff Suren Krmoyan stated during a press conference on Friday.
And, as per Krmoyan, on January 1, 2014, Armenia will formally petition the European Union to recognize Armenian GMP certificates, but he also added that those Armenian pharmaceutical companies, which do not meet with GMP standards, could be closed.
