TBILISI. – The Assembly of the Armenians in Tbilisi will hold an action on Friday in front of the French Embassy in Georgia. The action will be called “Merci”, Georgian media reports.

The French National Assembly adopted on Thursday a bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian genocide.

Various Armenian organizations, including the Union of the Armenian veterans, Association of the Human Rights Protection as well as Nor Serund (New generation) will participate in the action.

French Ambassador to Georgia will be given a letter of gratitude by the Armenian community of Georgia.
