YEREVAN. – Young Union of the Yerevan State University Alumni NGO organized a march on Friday to the French Embassy. The alumni met and gave a letter to the acting Ambassador of France.

“Adoption of the bill penalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide by the French National Assembly confirms once again that France stresses importance of the policy towards historic justice of human rights and denial of genocide,” the letter reads.

By its decision France confirmed that the Armenian Genocide recognition does not have statute of limitation, head of the NGO Gevorg Melkonyan said.
