YEREVAN. – The motto “zero problems with neighbors” are just words no moves are taken, head of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Armenian National Academy of Sciences Ruben Safrastyan said on Monday.

According to him, such declarations both regarding Armenia and other neighboring states do not correspond to facts.

“It is other thing that we should realize the meaning of the motto. It serves for the new ottoman challenges of the Turkish government and is shifting to the foreign policy,” the expert stated adding that the motto in fact is addressed to its neighboring states not to have a problem with Turkey.

Many of the neighboring states will not agree with the motto, therefore it remains unrealized, he added.
