Armenia has not submitted an application for membership in the European Union (EU) to Brussels. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during the debates on the report on the implementation of the 2024 state budget of Armenia at Thursday’s joint meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly (NA).

“No. Armenia has not submitted such an application,” the FM emphasized.

On March 26, the NA had passed—in the second and final reading—the bill on the start of Armenia’s EU membership process.
