Israeli army strikes on Iran will continue and are expected to continue on a sustained basis for several days, defense ministry sources confirmed to the Jerusalem Post on Friday morning. 

Dozens of Israeli planes took part in the first wave of strikes on dozens of military sites and Iranian nuclear facilities early Friday morning.

As of 04:30 a.m. local time, the Israeli Air Force was likely still conducting large-scale attacks, and there were no concrete signs of a halt, the Post wrote.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran is preparing to produce tens of thousands of ballistic missiles “that could destroy millions of Israelis even without nuclear weapons.”

In addition, Netanyahu said that Iran may be only a few months away from being able to “actually build nuclear weapons, not just having enough uranium.”
