Amir Saeid Iravani, Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in New York, in an official and urgent letter addressed to the President of the Security Council, “strongly condemned the recent aggressions of the Zionist regime, supported by the United States, against peaceful nuclear facilities and high-ranking military officials of our country and called for the immediate convening of an emergency meeting of the Security Council and for this international body to take decisive action against these criminal and provocative acts”.
"The Zionist regime, in a reckless, illegal and deliberate act, has carried out a series of coordinated military attacks on the nuclear facilities and civilian infrastructure of the Islamic Republic of Iran. These actions are considered a clear violation of the Charter of the United Nations and the fundamental principles of international law, and their dangerous consequences seriously threaten regional and international peace and security," Iravani's letter said.
