The death toll in the Gaza Strip from Israeli strikes reached 85 on Wednesday, according to medical sources, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reports.

They said that 53 Palestinian civilians were killed in the northern Strip, 28 others in the central Strip, and four others in the southern enclave. More than 180 wounded were taken to hospitals.

It was also reported that the Gaza Health Ministry recorded two deaths from starvation in the past 24 hours. One of the deceased was a child. The total number of deaths from starvation in the enclave has reached 455, more than 150 of whom are children.

According to the ministry, more than 66,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 168,000 injured since the start of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
