Azerbaijani side made an undue proposal to Turkey at talks on gas price. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to sell gas in Turkey’s domestic market through its own company, Turkish Sabah daily reports.

As a result of 1-month talks, Azerbaijan demanded that Turkey establishes a company similar to Gazprom and supply Azerbaijani gas directly to retail consumers.

The representatives of Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources stated they would discuss and respond to Azerbaijan’s unexpected proposal further.
