“Nagorno-Karabakh settlement is possible within next year,” said the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Special Representative on Nagorno-Karabakh and South Ossetia Goran Lennmarker. “

”Taking into consideration the recent intensification of the talks between Armenian and Azerbaijani leadership, positive results might be expected in the near future," Lennmarker told the journalists in Athens. According to him, the two countries’ FMs held discussions in Athens the day before, that will continue today and “it raises hopes.”

As NEWS.am reported earlier, Lennmarker plans to visit South Caucasus in the end of January, 2010. As to visit terms, “it depends on elections in Ukraine.” Today RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan met with Goran Lennmarker. The officials discussed recent developments in NKR conflict resolution.
