“Russia made a blunder by backing anti-Iranian resolution and in our opinion its reckonings have got it wrong,” Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in the interview with Iranian TV, Reuters reports. He called Russia’s efforts to isolate Iran pointless and slashed Moscow for supporting IAEA decision on Iran’s nuke program.

Ahmadinejad also stated that West is not afraid of “Iranian bomb, but of its technological progress.” According to him, Iran’s technological achievements triggered major concern in the West. As a notable example he mentioned nano microscope created by one of Iranian scientists. Ahmadinejad underlined that only six states are capable of launching such product, which is Iran’s bomb."

Iranian President stated that the country possesses the key world energy resources and it is impossible to isolate it. “We are not liable to inform the IAEA of our plans on building nuclear facilities until the technologies are imported,” he outlined.
