Turkish businessmen are taking interest in Armenia’s real estate market, particularly in business premises. Experts are viewing this interest in the context of the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation. It will also boost the Armenian real estate market and the capital construction sector, which is experiencing hard times now. Experts are also warning against such threats as a rise in real estate prices, which will make it impossible for ordinary citizens to purchase housing.

Talking to NEWS.am, representatives of the Aktsern and Yerkir real estate agencies pointed out that they have not yet registered a tendency to purchase real estate on the part of Turks. Some brokers confirm that Turkish businessmen are interested in real estate in Armenia.

Armenian laws prohibit the purchase of land in Armenia by foreign citizens, but allow them to purchase housing.
