Turkey’s family affairs minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya has been declared persona non grata in the Netherlands and deported from the country due to failing to obey police orders and laws of Holland.
As Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet noted, from now on Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya will not be able to enter any of the Schengen countries at least for 10 years. She will face imprisonment for up to six months and re-deportation.
The Dutch authorities banned a rally supporting changes in Turkey’s constitution, prevented the landing of Turkey’s foreign minister and detained Turkey’s family affairs minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya close to the consulate in Rotterdam.
