YEREVAN. – Incidents that took place during the campaign should not cast a shadow on the soldiers’ service, today is not only a day of grief, but also a day of pride, Former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said.

Ohanyan who heads Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian (ORO) Bloc visited Yerablur military cemetery to honor memory of soldiers killed during the April war.

“Grief and joy have always accompanied the Armenian people throughout all his history complementing each other. Very often tragic events become the reason of our pride. The history of our people is full of tragic and heroic events, when heroes shed their blood. And today we must do our utmost to achieve worthy peace. But today we are dealing with such a neighbor that the peace is unlikely to come soon,” Ohanyan noted.

The ORO bloc is led by former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, and ex-FMs Raffi Hovannisian and Vartan Oskanian.
