World-renowned French Armenian singer, songwriter and actor Charles Aznavour said he accepted the choice of the people, no matter who was elected, he said during a media conference commenting on Armenia April 2 parliamentary elections.

According to the legendary chansonnier, he did not want to go into politics.

“If this person was chosen by my people, then he is my president.  Frankly, I do not like people who move to other countries and criticize their country's policies, so everything is fine for me. In spite of the fact that I have friends who are politicians, I never talk about politics. I talk to them about art: music, movies, paintings.  We have enough subjects,” he noted.
