Opening ceremony of the exhibition on the historical maps of Armenia was held in the Lithuanian capital city of Vilnius, and it was organized by the embassy of Armenia in Lithuania.

In his remarks at the event, Armenian Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan noted that the maps being displayed at this exhibition represent the development of Armenia and the changing of its borders throughout history, and reflect on the glorious and the tragic chapters in Armenian history.

Subsequently, historian Rouben Galichian presented 51 historical maps of Armenia and the region.

The exhibition will be open until June 30.
