President of Lebanon Michel Aoun has arrived on an official visit in Yerevan. He is expected to hold meetings with Armenia’s top leadership – the President, the Chairman of the National Assembly and the Prime Minister.
Michel Aoun will be hosted by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II in Etchmiadzin.
Valuable brass plates have been stolen from Matenadaran, Armenia-based institute of ancient manuscripts.
According to the reports, an unknown criminal stole valuable brass plates during an event in Matenadaran. The amount of damage is specified.
France commented on a regular aggressive statement of Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev.
Asked to comment on Aliyev’s territorial claims, the foreign ministry said France is involved in the Karabakh peace process and called on the parties to refrain from any statements and actions that could provoke tension.
