YEREVAN. – First meeting of the Interdepartmental Committee on National Security Strategy Development took place Tuesday at the main building of the government of Armenia. Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, was chairing this meeting.
“The strategic document reflecting our national interests and goals will sum up the active proactive avenues and approaches to develop and expand new opportunities to raise the level of security of the Republic of Armenia, which will enable [us] to give a new meaning to our tasks at the international platform, in the region, and within our country,” Grigoryan said, in particular, at the start of the meeting. “We are going to be guided by our national interests, goals, and priorities.”
The Security Council secretary’s remarks were followed by the closed discussion of the Interdepartmental Committee on National Security Strategy Development.
