YEREVAN. – An Armenian delegation, led by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, headed for Kazakhstan’s capital Astana on Wednesday, to attend Thursday’s session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Defense Ministers’ Council. 

The session’s participants will discuss matters concerning the joint military exercises to be conducted in Armenia this September, and the joint measures toward developing and improving military cooperation among the CSTO countries, MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

In Astana, Armenia’s Defense Minister will also meet with his Kazakh colleague and visit the international exhibition on arms and military equipment. 

In addition, the CSTO defense ministers will be received by Kazakhstan’s President, Nursultan Nazarbayev
