January 25, 2010 an 18-year old girl died of swine flu in Georgia, Georgia Online reports referring to National Center for Disease Control.

According to local doctors, the patient was hospitalized with complications three days ago.

To date, 27 swine flu deaths were registered in Georgia. The health state of 7 patients in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi hospitals is esteemed as grave.
