YEREVAN. – Armenia’s national currency, the dram, is marking its 20th anniversary.  

The dram, was put into circulation in the country on November 22, 1993. Now, this day is marked in Armenia as the bank employees’ day.   

The Central Bank of Armenia owns the exclusive rights to issue the dram.
