YEREVAN. – The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will convene an executive meeting on Saturday.

RPA Executive Body member Ruben Tadevosyan, who is also Chairman of the RPA Organizational Issues Committee, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He noted, however, that an RPA Board meeting is not yet slated.

To the question on whether or not the names of the next National Assembly (NA) speaker and the remaining members of the new Cabinet will be announced on Saturday, Tadevosyan responded that all the names will be made public within the specified period of time.

It is believed that the next NA leader will become known before the end of the week because the next NA four-day session, during which the new NA speaker will be elected, will get underway on April 28.
