YEREVAN. – Armenia continues to clarify data on missing persons as a result of Karabakh conflict.

An interdepartmental commission and a working group on POWs, hostages and missing persons are clarifying the data and are drawing personal files of missing during the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.

This time a meetings was held with the relatives of missing persons living in Shirak region where 11 people are considered to be missing.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional administration who listened to the complaints most of them related to housing problems. In addition, anyone could apply for a medical examination and surgery.

Representative of the working group, Lieutenant Colonel Samvel Asatryan said the government seeks to provide possible assistance to relatives of the missing, not only in the search, but the solution of pressing social issues.

Overall, 200 people are considered missing in Armenia.
