Israel and Hamas have agreed on 72-hour “humanitarian cease-fire” in Gaza starting from Friday morning. The decision was announced by Secretary of State John Kerry and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, BBC Russian service reported.

Over 1,400 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during a three-week military operation, tens of thousands were forced to flee. Fifty-eight Israelis, among them two civilians, were killed during the operation.
