YEREVAN. – The inaugural Baghdad-Yerevan-Erbil (capital city of Iraqi Kurdistan) flight will be conducted Thursday by the Iraqi Airways Company.

As per the press secretary of the Armenian government-affiliated General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA), Ruben Grdzelyan, this regular flight will be operated twice a week, and with  Bombardier CRJ900 and Boeing 737 aircrafts.

Several Iraqi government members and the heads of around fifty travel agencies will arrive in Armenia with the first flight. 

The Iraqi Airways Company belongs to the Iraqi government, and the Avia-Service company is this airline company’s representative in Armenia.
