Azerbaijan is not among the 50 leading countries in terms of transfers to and from Armenia. Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic Martyn Galstyan stated at the session of the National Assembly during the discussion of the report on the implementation of the state budget for 2023, answering the deputies' questions.

Earlier, Garnik Danielyan, a deputy from the opposition Armenia bloc, addressed a related question.

"Considering the absence of this country in the list, it can be assumed that the volume of money transfers is either very small or completely absent," Galstyan said.

He recalled a case that caused a great resonance a few years ago involving a money transfer between the two countries.

"I can't remember exactly in which direction the money was transferred, but I remember that the transfer was made by one of the international organizations," the Central Bank head added.
