STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 140 times, on Wednesday and early Thursday.

During this time, more than 1,700 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mine throwers and grenade launchers, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army reported. 

As a result of the operative actions taken by the Defense Army vanguard units, however, the adversary’s “activeness” was quelled, and its weapon emplacements were silenced.
