The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahanyan, participated in an intercollegiate student conference.
The event, which is titled “The Economic System of the Republic of Armenia: Innovation, Development, Implementation,” is convened from Friday to Sunday in Tsaghkadzor city.
Abrahamyan, welcoming the participants in the conference, noted that the Government of Armenia has announced that the active youth involvement in society and their societal wellbeing are a strategic direction in the social policy of the Armenian state.
The PM expressed a conviction that one way to reduce unemployment in Armenia is to enhance professional skills, and to involve the youth in entrepreneurship.
In addition, Abrahamyan commended that the conference participants pay special attention to the Armenian Genocide recognition process.
The Premier also reflected on the prospects for economic development in Armenia, and the respective actions being taken.
