President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has been interviewed by CNNturk television.

In an interview, President noted that Armenians and Turks are neighbors in the region, and neighborhood was not chosen by the Armenians. 

“If Turkey has had ratified the protocols, things would be different. Withdrawal of protocols was a political message addressed to Turkey. We have not withdrawn our signature. If Turkey ratifies, we will also do,” Mr. Sargsyan said.

Commenting on the latest message by Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, President Sargsyan said “it was addressed to the international community. I hope that on April 24, President Erdogan will make a stronger statement and will settle the relations.”
