YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Wednesday handed over medals to the doctors – veterans of the Great Patriotic War. .

The Minister participated in the event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In his speech, Minister Ohanyan pointed out two significant events: centennial of the Armenian Genocide and the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He underscored importance of Armenian doctors' contribution to the victory.

Health Minister Armen Muradyan also addressed the participants.
