YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Economy Minister Karen Chshmaritian received the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) today. 

The delegation consisted of Vlaanderen Paul, EBRD Country /Armenia/ Director, Bruno Balvanera, Director for Caucasus, Moldova and Belarus and Mark Davies, Head of the EBRD’s Yerevan Resident Office, Armenia’s Ministry of Economy press-service reports.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan, Head of the Economic Development Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy Artak Baghdasaryan and Head of Investment Policy Department Vahagn Lalayan.

During the meeting the forthcoming changes in EBRD's management system and issues related to Armenia's participation in this context were discussed.

The sides exchanged ideas on the issues to be discussed during the upcoming EBRD Annual Meeting in Tbilisi.

During the meeting reference was made to the process of certain projects currently implemented in Armenia by EBRD.
